Transfer Case & Evap Guard: 2014+ 2500/3500

$429.00

SKU: TCG-14 Category:

Description

Developed as a substantial improvement over the thin and unreinforced OEM t-case skid, our skid plate offers an increased area of protection and adds coverage over the previously unprotected emissions evaporative canister, all in an incredibly robust package.

Formed from 3/16″ plate steel, this skid plate offers a number of improvements over the OEM unit. All perimeter edges are sloped to provide a smooth contact and departure when sliding across an obstacle, and all fasteners are recessed to guard against fastener head shearing. Extensive ribbing and channel supports on the interior make for an incredibly durable piece of armor that will guard your drivetrain against the worst hits you can throw at it.

The protective area of our Transfer Case Skid Plate is greatly increased over the OEM offering in order to better guard the transfer case and to offer new protection to the previously at-risk emissions evap canister, all while integrating seamlessly with our Engine/Transmission & 3-Bar Skid Plates to provide a complete protection package underneath your truck.

Fits 2014-Present Ram 2500/3500 with the 6.4L Hemi, including Power Wagon and Hemi Rebel packages

Transfer Case Skid Plate

This provides a vast improvement over the factory transfer case skid plate and extends to also protect the evap canister.

SUPER Stout with Additional Coverage

I replaced the thin factory transfer case with Dethloff Mfg's new piece. As indicated it also extends further rearward and protects the evap canister which was previously exposed. The new formed metal is a huge improvement (look at how bent my OEM one was in the photo). Very substantial and fit was perfect using the factory attachment points.

ALREADY stress tested this piece as I got hung up on a narrow camel hump with FULL weight on the new skid....and went back and cleared it after getting a tug on the first failed attempt!
